Renunciation sent to SF embassy, how long more?

Hi, I sent my renunciation application to VFS about a month back, after almost 10 days they said it had been forwarded to SF embassy. Since then whenever I check the status it says "your application has reached the embassy".
i know they are delayed due to Covid but any idea how long they'll take.

Aura790 U can try to check the status on the government website as well. Login to your account here https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/ and then click on Track application status. It can provide you supplemental information on whether your surrender certificate has been printed or not.

kiranboda Hi, thanks for the info but when I tried, it says application number cannot be tracked.
