I am an Indian born naturalized US citizen with India Tourist visa valid until 2015. I am employed by an international company so I travel quite a bit. I am in India on NON business related visits approximately every
three months as I have family and a house there. In near future, I may find myself needing to visit India in less than three month time period.
Because of the recent two month non entry rule for tourist visa holders, I cant travel to India within two months. So will getting a PIO card allow me to enter India within two months? More importantly, will the Indian consulate issue me a PIO card considering I still have a valid tourist visa?
