  • Query on OCI application for Minor applicant

    Hello,

Can you help with below query?

    1. As per checklist, the current passport of minor applicant has to be self-attested. Do both minor and parents have to self-attest?
    2. In the Government Application Online form, minor applicant has to put thumb impression/signature in the Declaration Page and in the section "Application for Minor Child", both parent has to sign. Is this correct?

If they are less than 5, only the parents need to self-attest the passport. If they are older than 5, I believe the minor and parents have to self-attest. We only needed our toddler's thumbprint twice. Once to upload to the application and again on the declaration page which we also had to sign and get notarized.
