I got an offer of 72 k.

As i am planning to stay with my family in USA (wife and small kid).

Any body can let me know how much i can spent i i could stay with family.

it depends upon the city and state but considering the average salary in USA is about 37,000 you have a good deal.

If the 72K offer is from a consulting company, make sure you talk to 20 people who currently work for that company as consultants. There are many consulting companies that do not pay their employees at all and harrass the employees. They make all kinds of false promises. Make sure you do your research about the company.
