I need information regarding written test for driving

Hi,

I came to US on 2nd july with H1 B Visa and applied for SSN on 5th. But up now i didn't get it.


Is SSN necessary to attend the written test for driving license.

Yup - SSN is required

Yes, you need your SSN to apply for your driving test and further processing for your driver's license.

It takes some weeks to get the SSN card. If you don't get it in about 4 weeks or so, go to your SSA office with your documentation.
