Hi,
I have been here in US for quite some time and did not have need to have a NRO account.
I am converting my Resident Savings account now to NRO account.
Been talking to bank and there is no problem.
Only issue is my linked Demat account.(I have ICICI bank resident saving account).
They want me to delink my demat account from my resident account(which is being converted)
Need to know,if anybody has faced a similar situation and how did he get access to his demat account after conversion of linked account to NRO.
