Hello,
I have applied for OCI card for my son. It seems as part of this process i need apostilled birth certificate which I understand can be obtained from the state government of the state he was born in USA. However, it seems the apostilled birth certificate also needs to be attested by Indian consulate/Embassy. Unfortunately, the consulate which has jurisdiction is a 2 hour flight away. Is there a way to do this by mail. It seems there is miscellaneous services form. But that form asks for passport to be sent in addition to the document to be attested (birth certificate) but passport is already with the OCI processing people. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
