Insurance with pending i485

Hi,

I have been in the US for a couple of years working under an F-1 visa OPT, and I applied for adjustment of status (i-485). Currently, I have health coverage until 07/31/18, which I originally obtained through my student status. I will be acquire coverage again in September, but I am looking for a short-term insurance during August while my application is pending. I looked into short-term insurances through Insubuy, but the State where I live does not make me eligible for this plan (National General STM). What other options would you recommend?

I was F1 then OPT but my OPT has ended in May 19. Now I am under i485 pending. Am I required to purchase health insurance? If so, what is the best deal for my status? Thank you
