  • Prescription drug discount card for pre-existing conditions

Hi, I am planning to buy Insurance for my parents. They are immigrating to US. I am thinkging to go with 100,000 max policy, 80/20 and 1000 deductible. I checked your website and seems like Protection America also has a prescription discount card. Can that card be used for the pre-existing conditions? Also their official address is in Ohio but they will spend most of the time in Minneapolis. Which state should I select while buying the insurance? Awaiting your reply, Thanks,

Yes, you can use the prescription drugs discount card for pre-existing conditions as well. Please look at https://www.insubuy.com/universal-rx/ to see which drugs are covered at what cost.

You don't have to select any state. Insurance is valid everywhere in the US, except FL addresses.

You can make instant purcahse online at https://www.insubuy.com/patriot-america-insurance/

Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any other questions.

I am trying to purchase the protection america online. I am just wondering if it is possible for me to pay the insurance monthly instead of paying the whole premium at once.If so, is there any additional charge?

You can pay monthly without paying anything extra.

Instead of putting mutliple months, you just specify one month at a time and then you renew the insurance at https://www.insubuy.com/img/renewal/

My Parents are coming here on Green Card. Will they be eligible for the Domestic Insurance like Fortis? The coverage seems to be better as they cover preventive and pre-existing? Please advice.

They can buy insurance like Fortis (now called Assurant Health) after you they have been staying in the US for at least 1 year on green card and as long as they are younger than 63.5 years of age.

We have Assurant products available at http://www.domesticinsuranceusa.comh...cal-insurance/. However, they will much more expensive. Also, not all people with pre-existing conditions are accepted. And even if they are accepted, pre-existing conditions coverage is not immediate.

Thanks for the prompt reply. One more question, if I renew each month, would that affect the Deductible? Would the deductible amount restarts for each policy period ( in this case each month) or is the deductible counted for 6 months?

                    No problem at all.
In Protection America, if you cancel early, you will get the refund for fully unused months minus $25 cancellation fee, as long as no claims have been filed since the effective date.
                    Thanks & Regards

I am just trying to decide between paying monthly vs full payment at once.

If I do decide to pay monthly, and suppose treatment starts after the first 15 days of purchasing the policy and if the treatment is needed for unknown time, would the insurance continue to cover if I renew it every month?
NARENDRA>>>Yes, as long as it was covered expense in the earlier month and as long as you renew before it expires.

Is there any advantage by paying the premium at once?
NARENDRA>>>Not really. Only thing is that you need to remember to renew it every month. You get reminders in the email. But finally it is your responsibility to renew it.

                      I really appreciate your help.
                      Thanks & Regards
