I’m programming (I’m 74 yrs. old), with my wife (66 yrs. old) to move, starting from 2008, to your Country, and precisely to the Fairfax County – Virginia, to live there with our only son, who, with his family, lives and works a long time in the U.S. : he is now an American citizen.
It is a demanding decision for us (we are both retired) that causes many problems, but it gives confidence for our being elderly, with no more family relations in Italy.
We are Italian citizens (we come from Venice / North-Eastern Italy), we enjoy a reasonable state of health and we now follow the procedures to get the Green Card.
Having said this, knowing your competence and experience, we will be grateful for every suggestion and advice you will think right to give us, with special regard to our age and to being retired.
Naturally, one of the our serious worries is to get information about health insurance we could comply with.
