I was wondering if you could answer a quick question. My mum and dad are Green Card holders (since 2000). They visit the US every year for a month or two and go back to India. Beginning middle of next year they are planning to spend longer periods in the US (6 months to begin with), and in a year or so after that may move here permanently. Could you give me an idea of what types of insurance and approximate costs would be associated with getting them insurance here in the US. My dad is 72 and my mum is 68 years old. They would stay either with me in Dallas or my sister in Atlanta.
Also would they ever be eligible for Medicare once they become US Citizens?
