I have read your insurance forum in immhelp.com and found it very helpful in general. I have a friend who is a Canadian citizen living in Florida for more than a year now. Officially he is out of status with the US immigration since Canadian visiting the US should not stay more than 6 months. Anyway, he is thinking of purchasing a temporary medical insurance (1-2 years max) to cover his stay in Florida. Is he eligible to purchase any of the insurance listed in your website? From you have described, it seems Protections America is a good plan. Is he eligible? If not, which one would you recommend for a person in his situation?
