I am an Indian passportholder with Canadian permanent resident status. I plan to visit India shortly and I would like to have a couple of issues clarified.
(1) Since my passport was issued I got married and moved to Canada. I (or anyone related to me) no longer stay in the address given on the last page of my passport. Further, my husband's name also does not appear in the "name of the spouse" section. Is it necessary to update those information on the passport before travelling to India. Will there be any issues if those information are not updated?
(2) Is it just enough to carry my Indian passport and the Canadian PR Card to enter and exit India, or do I require any other documentation?
