I just got my approval notice for my EB2-NIW. I think you definitely have the credentials for getting EB2-NIW, but not EB1. I discussed that a lot with my lawyers and they told me they are seeing cases in which USICS is requesting over two thousands citations for EB1. They did not recommend me to try EB1. As comparison, I have:
PhD in Genetics, over 5 years of postdoctoral experience and recently employed as a full specialist in major US university.
24 papers, 268 citations
Worked as reviewer over 60 times to 14 different journals.
I used t WeGreened.com and I definitely recommend them. They got me approved smoothy and they have great communication and knowledge. You can send them your CV and they will evaluate for free and give your chances. Try it, it is free. If they accept your case, they return your money if they don't get you approved.
