Can you travel to india from USA via europe with two indian passport new and old

I have an old passport which will be valid till may 2017 and has valid H1B visa Stamped on it. I have got new indian passport as well from USA local indian embassy.
I want to travel to india in Dec 2016-jan 2017 via europe . Can i travel with carrying both passports old an new since my old passport having stamped visa .

please suggest
