  • Tourist visa entry at german immigration

    Hi
i recently traveled to germany. At the Immigration at berling airport i was asked how many days i was goin to b in the country. I thought the officer asked me how many days i would be europe so i said 10 days instead of 4 since i had a booking for 4 nights in berlin. She saw my booking for 4 nights n reconfirmed my answer. I told her i was travelling to Amsterdam after that and she asked for my remaining bookings and then took my fingerprints and stamped my passport.
Did i get flagged for answering wrong ? I technically have a 6 months visa. I thought she was asking me how many days was i to spend in Europe.

The immigration process at German airports for tourist visa holders is generally efficient and professional. Officers may ask questions about your travel plans, accommodation, return ticket, and financial means, so it's important to have all documents ready. As long as your paperwork is in order and your purpose is clear, entry is usually smooth. Patience and courtesy go a long way.
