Hi Guys,
I have a very specific query related to F1 Visa. I have been admitted to 'illnois Institute of Technology (IIT) Chicago' and F1 visa has also been issued to me for the same but the issue is my company had applied for H1 visa this year and results of which have not been declared to us yet and usually our company takes their own sweet time to declare the H1 results.
So my query is if my name gets selected in H1 lottery, will my F1 stand cancelled or will i have a choice not to get my H1 stamped and keep my F1 visa valid so that i can pursue my MS from US as i want to study further. Also if i go to US on F1 visa, do i face any issues at port of entry authorities being the case my H1 lottery is also approved?
I do not want to land up in a scenario where i go to US for studies and meanwhile my H1 gets approved and i have to come back or something. Please guide me the correct process/policy.
