"Case was received at local office " What does it mean?

Hello All,

Thank you for your help in advance.

So here is my question ?

When i checked the status of my application is says " On December 2014, We have received your form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. Receipt No **** **** *** at your local office. "

What does it mean ? The file has been sent to local immigration office I.E. Mumbai or Delhi? What would be next stage now?
