  • not paying last months rent

    Hi, hope someone can assist me.

    I am currently renting a company apartment. My lease ends in two months but I already moved out. If i dont pay the last two months. What happens? will it ruin your credit?

    Ruin your life

    It would not only ruin your credit but it will ruin your life because everyone in the future who check your credit report will see that you didn't pay your last two months.
    No one will ever rent you a house, approve you for a loan or credit card.
    Your life will be over

      You are looking at:
      - this being on your credit report for many years to come (at least 7y);
      - being sued in Small Claims Court;
      - having to deal with debt collectors.

      If you don't want the above, you need to give notice as per your state's laws and pay the rent, even if you make arrangements to pay it off, if you can't afford the full amount.
      Not legal advice.
