Fraud Prevention and Detection Fee

Hi All,

What should be the DD in favor of for the making of Fraud Prevention and Detection Fee(500$) for L1B petition.

I was going through the older message and people wrote should be ,

"U.S. Consulate General,Chennai"

But when i checked the in.usembassy.gov it is mentioned to pay in favor of "American Embassy”.

Can you please clarify.

DD drawee

I can confirm that the DD should be in favor of "U.S. Consulate General,Chennai". I recently appeared for L1-Blanket at Chennai.

Also, by "American Embassy" it means the Embassy/Consulate you are applying.

I looked at several links with conflicting payee names. Any one recently payed? Even the support provides different answers over phone. Also, can I pay by my international Visa card from Chase Bank?
