I currently started my job under OPT. I had lost my passport a few months ago. Now I got a new Indian passport but obviously there is no Visa stamped on it. I would have to go to India to get it, I hear. Is that risky? But I have to go to India in the next 8 months for sure, so I will need physical visa on my passport to come back. Any ideas on my chances? My Visa doesnt expire for another 3 years, and OPT is still valid and I am working. Just that I do not have the physical Visa on my new passport.
