  • A child born in USA

    Hi,

I am currently living and working in USA based on TN visa. I am a Canadian citizen. Would I have to pay anything extra if I pay full premium medical coverage offered by my company, if my wife will deliver a baby in US hospital?

How soon after a baby is born in USA, would I be able to move to Canada with my family? Are there any restrictions or limitation period?

No. As soon as you want. No

No. US citizens don't receive universal healthcare welfare. Your costs will be identical to any other US citizen who doesn't qualify for means-tested healthcare welfare
