L2 expired travel on EAD/AP

Hi,

I am on L1A and my dependents are on L2. Our I-94 expired in July and L1 extension application is pending. We have valid EAD and Advanced Parole.
My wife and a kid need to travel back home due to an emergency. Is advisable to travel on AP with expired L2 visa? would there be any problems in rentry in US?

Need help urgently.

It's fine. The whole point of AP is to allow you to leave and return without a visa.
