Pay cut during Perm process
I am on H1B and my perm was filed at the starting of last month (Sept'17). I received a call from my employer last week stating that they would have to cut my salary by 2% due to margin reduction from the Client.
I am worried of its impact on my Green Card process. Could it affect the perm or I-140 process? Since I'll complete 6 years of H1B in Mar'18, I do not have much margin and am trying to reduce the possibility of RFE. Please let me know what could be the impact of this change and if there is a way to avoid/mitigate the risk.
