  • Two months since filing and no finger print notice

I filed my mother's n-400 about two months ago. However, she still has not received the finger printing notice. As she is nearly 80 years old, no biometrics fee was needed.

I had called INS and they cursorily told me to wait a bit more.

Now, 12 months ago, my mother did get her biometrics done at the Spanish consulate in San Francisco. This would have been for the schengen visa. Would that count for US citizenship?
