Completed the Biometrics and have been waiting over a year.

Over a year ago I completed the Biometrics in Baltimore Md and so far there has been no contact from USCIS. Also, the website has not been updated from "scheduled Biometrics appointment." I just sent a request because they are now processing Nov 2016 applicants and I applied in Aug 2016. I don't understand what could have happened and why there is such a wait.
