  • Travelling tp US on a later date

I am a Nigerian, I was recently issued a two years B1/B2 visa to the US , which is my first visa. My intended date of travel is 14th of October to 21st of October to Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. Due to some unforeseen circumstances that cropped up, i will not be able to make it. My question is this, i intend to travel maybe early next year so i can sort out the issue i have now.

    1. Will i be allowed entry in to the US if i cannot not travel on the initial date i applied for to travel?

    2. If yes to No. 1 question above, will i still go to the original state and county i filled in my application?

    3. Will i stay the number of days i indicated in my application?

    1. Yes.
    2. Not necessary. You can enter from any state.
    3. At the port of entry immigration officer will ask you question, how long are you planning to stay? You can specify then he/she will put stamp on your passport. So you can stay until the expiration date on I-94 stamp.
This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.
