  • Eligibility for ILR(indefinite Leave to Remain) - ICT long term visa

    Hi,

I am on Tier 2 ICT long term visa and came to the UK a few months back. I would like to know if I would be eligible to apply for ILR(settle in UK) after 5 years.
UK.gov website says below as the eligibility. It says Tier 2 issues under rules before 2010 is eligible. However, point 2 says Work permit for ICT is eligible.
If I am on Tier 2 ICT long term, does it mean that I have work permit and I am eligible to apply for ILR after 5 years?

    Eligibility
    You can apply if:

    a. you have a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) visa
    b. you’ve been living and working in the UK for 5 years and spent no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 months (known as ‘continuous residence’)
    c. your employer (sponsor) still needs you for your job
    d. you get paid the relevant salary listed in the Codes of Practice
To qualify, you must have had at least one of these visas in the 5 years:

    1. Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) issued under the Immigration Rules in place before 6 April 2010
    2. Work Permit for an intra-company transfer
