I need some help based on your experiences.
So this is my timeline so far:

I-485/I-130/I-131/I-765 Received date: 08/22/2017
I-485/I-130/I-131/I-765 Receipt notice: 08/28/2017
Biometrics notice: 09/01/2017
Biometrics appointment: 09/22/17


How long did it take you to get the EAD combo card from the BIOMETRICS date?

I own a business back in my country, and I might need to go back for business notary documents (my signature is needed and I need to be physically there).
Since I already applied for a travel advanced parole, what am I supposed to do, if I don't receive the EAD card in time?

Any advice will be gladly appreciated!

We are in the same boat! I did my biometrics on 09/25/2017 and I need to travel from December 1st to Dec 31st. Looking forward to others' inputs.

You can walk into you nearest service center and request emergency AP. I dont think however that business reasons qualify for a grant of emergency AP.

Based on experiences: https://www.immihelp.com/ead-workpermit-experiences/ The time frame is about 2-3 months to receive combo card.

will share my experience but do not be discouraged. there is also loads of evidence on this forum that things go quicker.
PD May 12. Bio done June 6. And still no card.... Last week we got notified it was approved Oct 4 (as of today online status also shows approval but there it says Oct 5). When I talked with IO in 10/13 he told me that card was not in production yet and it could take up to a month. Now waiting for call to see if card was produced in meantime so I can get tracking number. 5 months since PD and still no card in hand:-(
like previous commenter: do not think you can get emergency approval if it is not related to family emergency. However think you can try. good luck!

I’m still waiting for my EAD but just cheked my case status on their website and for my I-145 it says “ Case is ready to be schedule for an interview” Do you know what that means? and the status for my EAD it just says Fingerprint fee receive and I did my biometrics sept 22,2017

Also I’m 18 but they accept my case as a minor is the process more fast?
