Update

The Atlanta Field Office is working super hard, I’ve heard, and the tracker isn’t always accurate but you have to pack your patience. It does seem like everything is taking a year to get done; my paperwork was submitted Febuary 2017 and biometrics done in mid-March 2017. My interview letter came on Saturday; February 2018 is my date.

In the meantime while you’re waiting, study and make sure you have all your paperwork. Photocopy your originals and carry passport sized pictures with you, just in case. I received a few good pointers from a friend, even though every interview is different; you don’t want to be underprepared.

I will post my experience after my interview and if I take my oath the same day, I will let you know.

My interview time was 10 AM, went to the location at 9.15, check in at 9.30, they called my number after 3 mts i checked in, my actual interview went for less than 10 mts.
oath, fingerprint, a photo was taken, three forms of ID's Greencard, DL Passport
asked civic q-name two actual colonies,
who is in charge of the executive branch?
name supreme court judge/chief justice of the US?
what are the two major political parties in the united states?
two states that border Mexico?
simple reading and writing tests
ask yes/no q from N-400
Form- N-652 you passed the tests and congratulation check-marked
