Thank you for answering; my interview was February 2nd and no updates yet. Hopefully we’ll hear something this coming week; one more hurdle and it’ll be all done.

I just finished speaking with a USCIS CS Agent who informed me that although a case gets recommended for approval, it can take up to 120 days to finalize because it has to go through the final approval process. If, within the next 90 days there is no update, the Agent recommends that I call back and then a query will be made.

                Hi guys.
My case was received on August 17, 2017. On September 19, 2017, we started interview scheduling for your form N400. Since then I did not receive any info, it has been over 6 month. Has anyone has an information about Atlanta field office for August 2017 filers?

I applied in May 2017 and interview in feb 2018. That should give you idea about typical wait time

Reposting - Wanted to share my interview experience at ATL office. I passed. Officer was intimidating, perhaps that is what they are asked to do. No need to bring photos as some people have mentioned on this forum. Highly recommend reviewing your entire application prior to interview. They will verify the entire application. Test was simple. Was told I should be getting a letter with details regarding oath taking ceremony in the mail.

My interview was on Mar 12th. The officer began by asking me to write a sentence and then read a sentence in English. Next she asked me questions from civics and history. I answered 6 correctly. So, she stopped with the questions. Then she went through the N-400 and some corrections were made on my form as I had traveled outside US after filing my N-400. She asked me questions about my tax filings. I had with me the IRS transcripts. She took a copy of the transcript. Then she told me that I passed the test and asked me if I would be prepared to take oath on 23rd Mar. I told her I am fine with the date. I was asked to wait outside for 30 minutes and another officer gave me the oath letter.

Today I completed the oath ceremony.
