  • E2 visa for professional consultant

I am in Canada and have my consulting business for 17 years as chemist helping small companies in formulating new products as well as classification and labeling of chemicals, I also have a Phd degree from Russia in Chemical Engineering. I am doing fairly well last few years but like to expand it to close by states in US. I am wondering if it suits for getting E2 visa? I believe I can easily find one or two customers in New York who I can spend one-two days each week and come back for the rest of week to continue my business in Canada, would it work? Thank you

It does not. Have you read the e2 regulations? A e2 business cannot be marginal which is exactly what you are describing. You have to create more jobs than just the job for yourself.
