Seek advise on ACS skill assessment

Hi all,
I've submitted EOI with

65 points on 189
70 points on 190

I'd like to claim spouse points (5 points) in my EOI.

Need urgent assessment and advise to determine whether her ACS results will be positive or not based on the following details.

Electronics and communication engineering degree - 2009 to 2013 - Visweswaraiah Technological University, Karnataka. INDIA

IT experience as 261311 - Analyst Programmer
24/07/2013 to 05/11/2013 - IBM India Pvt Ltd - Technical Support Representative
22/11/2013 to 28/10/2013 - Cognizant India - Programmer Analyst

Many said 4 years minimum experience is required for positive assessment and some said it is 2 years. Some also said experience doesn't matter. Please advise.

Thats a really good question. You should consider contacting a Migration Agent as there can be complexities in calculating your points for an EOI.

You can claim up to 10 points for Partner skill under Skilled Independent visa Subclass 189 Points table.
For you to be eligible to obtain 10 points for your partner, he/she must be an applicant for the same visa subclass. Also, you spouse must not be a permanent resident or a citizen of Australia.
You are also required to provide evidence that at the time you received an invitation to apply, your spouse was:

• Under 45 years of age
• Had competent English language skill
• Had nominated a skilled occupation mentioned is on the same SOL as your nominated skilled occupation
• Had a positive skills assessment done from the relevant assessing authority for the nominated skilled occupation

While, you can obtain maximum 5 points for under Partner Skills if your spouse has competent English language skill.
