I’m currently 12 months into an 18 month J1 visa. I have recently married a US citizen and we will be starting paperwork soon.
I noticed that my passport page doesn’t state “not subject to Two Year homestay”. HOWEVER, on my DS-2019, the box is checked to state that I’m not subject to it, signed by the US Embassy.
My passport just says the annotation number and “P 3 11517” but nothing else. As I said, my DS 2019 states I am not subject to the two year requirement.
Am I subject or not? I really appreciate any hell people can given.
