My employment status changed to ? card was mailed to you?
I checked with USPS delivery app and it?s coming tomorrow. I?m so excited because now, after 2 years locked on this country I can leave and visit my family 😊

There was an automated system when I called that keep saying my case has been ready to schedule for an interview. So it didn't help. But I did some digging on google. I found out that people who have gotten this message in the past have received either RFE or interview date in about 10-20 days. I am hoping to get interview date and not a bloody RFE. But Any sign of anything happening on my case is better than a whole lot of nothing.

Huh that's weird, let us know what they said when you called them. Atleast you had some update with your cased being ready for interview. My case still says : fingerprint fee received

If the case is ready for interview that you should not expect a RFE. You case is been reviewed. Is this a married- or employment-based?

Interview Update

Hey Guys,

I did my interview today (i485 employment based). The officer was polite and friendly. Even he offered me to do the interview in my own language. He didn't ask for a single piece of paper/proof. Looking at how he handled my file, he reviewed it before the interview and put stickers in the pages that he needed more info. We confirmed the i-485 questions (not all, just a few, he kept saying: I don't understand why they ask those things, bla bla bla). He digged a bit about the job, the company & sponsor. And that's it!! At the end he said: Everything looks fine. You should get a decision in a 2 weeks or less.

I'm hoping for a sucessfull ending in this looooooong trip.

Even for my field office, I wasn't expecting an interview so fast. My lawyer told me up to 6 months!!

Well this is great.. I received a RFIE yesterday.
My birth certificate that I did send with my package. Apparently it got lost.
So as I understand it, when you receive a RFIE you're starting ALL OVER.............
pretty bummed
