US insurance fro parents above 70 years coming on greencard

Hi Team,

Can you please advise, I am a us citizen and currently they have visitors visa and trying to make a decision to apply for Greencard for my parents as they both are alone in India and 75 years, and they will be new immigrant to USA in California, please let me know what are my best options in terms of their insurance coverage? They have been here few times on US visitors visa but never stayed more than 4 months, no US working history/credits and they can show assets in India and is there a way I can add on my employee insurance or California state medical options with pre-existing conditions?

Insurance

work insurance is available to spouse and dependent children not parents.
domestic insurance plans generally stop at age 65.
Medicare won't be available to purchase until they have had their green card for 5 years. Notice the word purchase in that sentence.
There are plans that they can purchase until they are eligible for Medicare. Check Insubuy for those plans.
