  • Traveling with Advance Parole

    Hi Everyone,

I have concern about traveling to my home country having my Advance Parole card.

I came to US in 2014 and my F1 visa is valid till 2020. I failed a credit when I was in school and that was my last credit, I applied for renewal of my I20 but it was denied in the month of May 2017. I received an email from my school stating that my SEVIS has been terminated and suspended from school too, I got married to US citizen in May first week 2017 before I was suspended from school.

I applied for the Green Card through a lawyer in August 2017.I have my EAD and AP approved.

    My question is,

    1. Can I travel to my home country with my AP and enter US without any problems ?
    2. Will I be considered as illegal ? I have stayed in US after being suspended from school but married to US citizen ( I guess, I have 60 days grace period to leave the country but I got married to US citizen ).

Please help me with this, I am totally confused.

Note: I asked my lawyer about this, he said I can travel but I need to have AP document and passport with me.
