I'm taking a cruise from Miami to Caribbean and back into Miami soon and have received conflicting information as to which identification to use.
On another recent cruise with Royal Caribbean they told me I should have travelled on my greencard (marital name) however on every other cruise I have completed I have travelled on my UK passport (maiden name)... but I always carry all documentation.
CBP said it doesn't matter to them and now I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on which one I should go with... it seems to be the cruise checkin staff that were causing a scene vs CBP.
