Late entry to US

Hello,
I m Ph.D. student applied for F-1 visa, unfortunately, VO issued with 221(g)form and put on administrative processing. In my I-20 the starting date is mentioned as 16th January but till now my visa has not been processed, so if my visa comes after january 16th , can I travel to USA without any problem ? Please post your answers.

I think u need to have a fresh I-20 with a deferred start date. Talk to the DSO of the school you applied they are a better guide
