Date of Birth correction in the Indian Passport for NRIs

I have a clarification regarding correction of my date of birth in my passport. Actually my date of birth was entered wrong in my original school records and the same was continued in my passport. I later approached District Court for advising SSC Board to correct my date of birth. Based on facts and evidences, district court gave a judgment to correct my date of birth. I would like to now know the process for correcting my date of birth in my Indian passport. Can we do in Indian Embassy located outside India? Appreciate any directions / guidance??
