EAD Approved c9 cate.

Hi all,

just want to share my EAD approval details and timeline as well;

My AOS category c9 was sent by attorney on Nov 3rd 2017, received by uscis on Nov. 7th 2017 and check cashed on nov. 14th 2017

I revieced 3 NOA before Nov 22 and got Fingerprint appoint letter on 24th Nov. 2017

Fingerprint done on Dec 4th

on Dec 7th attorney got RFIE (request of initial document) and responded on Dec 15th but USCIS never acknowledge receiving of RFIE nor they update online status on that.

On Jan 5th online status got update that EAD approved and letter mailed but haven't received anything in mail yet.

on Jan 11th 2018 again status update online says "new card being produced" and will mail it on address given....

i hope to get it in next 7 business days !! fingers crossed


total days for far;

64 days after filing AOS to get EAD approval...

similar timeline

We have just about the same timeline.
My case was received November 8th, 2017.
I did bio-metrics on December 4, 2017
No updates online besides acknowledgement of receipt till now.


Questions please:
1. Do you count weekends and public holidays when counting days after receipt of the documents?
2. Where did you file? I filed at the Chicago Lockbox Office.
