my situation is i have applied for a H1 Transfer and my approved 797 A came with expired I 94 Dates.
My I 797 approval notice have validity Dates as - May 01 2017 to April 30 2020
and Attached I 94 came with Dates - May 01 2017 to May 10 2017
but my H1B 797 approval notice date is July 17 2017 that means i received approval notice after I 94 Expired .
and our company attorney called USCIS and notified about the error , but they din't fixed the issue for three months ,
so attorney applied for I 102 for I 94 dates correction. it is more then 4 months by now and may take more 3 months on the speed its processing.
now i have a situation where i have to travel to India. and i din't have valid visa and I 94 now , is it safe for traveling or going for VISA stamping as i am staying here with expired I 94 for more than 8 Months?
