B1 Visa - Got 221g but they kept the Passport with them.

Hello,
I applied for a Business Visa today, i.e 7th feb 2018 @ Hyderabad Consulate.
VO -Good Morning
Me - Good Morning Sir
VO- Company you work for ?
ME - xxx Inc
VO - Purpose of the visit ?
Me - Explained him in detail that i have business meeting with our existing and new clients also mentioned the cities i ll be visiting.
VO - How long have you working for this company?
Me - 4 yrs
VO - Your Designation?
Me- Operations Manager
VO - Salary?
Me- xx Lakhs / annum
VO - Have you travelled before out of India ?
Me- Yes sir in 2005 to Europe
VO - Vacation ?
Me - Higher studies, i did my MBA there
VO - Are you Married ?
Me- Yes
VO - Any children ?
Me- 2 girls ( told him the age as well)
He was looking for some thing and put a sticker on the Passport, kept it aside and gave me a 221g (white form with a tic mark on Your Application requires additional Administrative processing )
VO then told me that we need to process further and it wont take much time, You will hear from us very soon.

Any one in similar situation ?
Is it a positive sign that they kept the Passport with them ?

This happens. He was happy with your profile (good for you), though he wanted to do some background verification (not sure, if they check your linkedin/******** etc) & will give you the visa soon.

Guys got an update on my status today...it say "Issued" hopefully i ll have my Passport with the visa in couple of days.
