  • EAD on A18 vs C09 - Need Info

    Hi All,

We are in a unique situation. Any opinions will be appreciated.

My spouse's EAD - on L2, A18 category is going to expire very soon and we recently did Biometrics for GC filing. In case the EAD/AP (C09 category) comes in before or later to A18 expiry, can my spouse continue/re-join the job ??

And in that case do we have to let the employer know the change in EAD category ?

    Thanks...

not sure what you are asking?
if the EAD based on AOS comes in before L2 visa expires, he can keep working.
If it doesnt then he's legally not allowed to work.

you could perhaps file for an renewal for his L2 - EAD so this will be in effect: https://www.uscis.gov/working-united...-ead-extension
This is my opinion, not legal advice!
