HELLO,
I am from India - Chennai My Daughter got J1 visa ( having a clause of 2 return to Home country) in 2015 ( for 6 months ) she has done Semister Abroad program at Boston and she came back to India .In March 2016 she completed her B Tech and tried for Master got the same in USA with F1 visa in 2016 May. She got admitted and completed here Masters in Dec 2017 Now she is in OTP and working in the same place where she got intern.
Now she is planning for applying for Convertion of F1 to H1B in April 2018. She is in USA.
1.Now since there is a clause in J1 return to Home country but it is objected in F1 visa and entry . Now she has completed almost 2 yrs in USA.Is it required to apply for waiver
2.She has started the process and collected the attestation from Indian Consulate - USA.Since last year it is said on line still do we need to send hard copies by courier by her from USA To India.
3. We came to know that we need to send it to 3 places in India ( Delhi - Ministry of Human , Passport office where it is issued ,next is Home ) can some one help Full address or where we can get the address
4.Normally How much time it take and once she she send it to the respective office is it possible to approach personally in India and process the same fast.
Please Help in Guiding the same .
