Visitor Visa Renewal Questions

Thanks in advance. My Parents have a VS Visitor Visa Expiring in Nov 2018 ( Issued December 2008). They have come to the US three times and have stayed for the time allotted in the I-94. I am looking into renewing their visa so that can visit us this summer. Here are couple of questions/verifications. Please advise

1) Are they eligible to apply even though their visa is active ?

2) Are they eligible for the INTERVIEW WAIVER PROGRAM "DROP-BOX" ?

3) As per consulate website there is a drop box location in Bangalore is this correct ?

4) After they drop off the documents how long before they get the Visa ? ( we don?t live in Bangalore and are trying to see if they need to stay back)

5) What kind of supporting documents are expected for the Visitor Visa renewal ?

Just wanted to Clarify the steps as I am getting confused with the instructions , As we discussed earlier They are eligible for drop box.

Questions

- Will the Photo and Fingerprints will be taken at the drop box location ? or should we take pictures and upload them with the application ?

- Can we fill out the application for them (they are not very computer savvy) ?

- Fees $160 (should be paid upfront in either at Axis or citibank and receipt printed.) I am assuming that this needs to be payed in person at the Axys Bank and they will give a receipt and a number that we need to fill into the DS-160 form ?

- After the fees is payed Create a profile in the website https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/...&country=India

-Fill in DS-160 form at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

- They will give a list of necessary document once DS-160 application is completed online.


After all these we stop by anytime and drop of documents at the Drop Box Center.
