WHITE 221G issued asking for additional documents for L2 Dependent Visa

Hi,

My wife and kid have appeared for L2 Dependent Visa in Hyderabad.

Consulate has issued white 221g asking for " VALID L1 PETITION FROM HUSBAND"

My wife has shown my original L1B Visa , Stamped I129S , I797.

Can anyone help what actually needs to be submitted and how much time will it take to get L2 Visa after submitting the required documents to VAC/VFS center.

Perhaps they are asking for your company's approved
Blanket Petetion; if yours was a L1 blanket approval?

Suggest that your wife and kid carry all your visa related documents (eg: your DS-160 etc.). Its always better to carry extra docs which may not be required than to miss out on something, which the consulate officer could have asked.
