Approved I140 with former employer But new PERM is not filed with current employer.
Hi,
Could any of experts please help with below situation.
I have approved I140 from former employer. My current employer still did not filled new PERM. I already crossed 6 years of H1.
1) I am not sure when current employer will initiate PERM. So Is there any rule that PERM can not be filled if I have less than 1 year left on current I94?
2) In case, current employer is not filling PERM. If I change the employer (H1 transfer) can the new employer get extension based upon approved I140 of some past employment?
