Can't find any information on a I-797c processing time

It's been 3 months now since they received my Spouse's application for employment and request for SSN.
The uscis website only says "we've received your request in December"
No update or anything.

I can't file my taxes till I get either the SSN or the ITIN that we also filed for since the SSN is taking months longer than we were initially told.

Since her receipt number starts with MSC, I attempted to look up the status through the service centers, but it seems as though MSC is not one of the service centers displayed on the uscis website.

Not sure what to do, and I can't ever seem to get ahold of them when I call...
