Changing Employer after Perm got approved.

Hi,

I am consulting through an employer who has filed for my Green card and got Perm Labour approved. I140 has not been filed yet.

Seeing current immigration climate, I gave few interviews and landed up in a full time role.

I wanted to understand whether Perm can be transferred to new employer or not ? If not can my old employer continue with my I140 filing processing while I join new company. I can make this thing work if possible.

No, cannot be transferred.
Yes, GC is for future employment.
